I would like to say we had a lot of cool stuff going on this weekend but everything was overshadowed by two little feet.
That’s right… P is walking now.
So in an instant, we went from having a tiny baby (well not baby but you get what I’m saying) to having a little toddling toddler.
It’s been about a few weeks since P took her first steps and she hadn’t really shown any real interest in making walking a more permanent thing. I wasn’t trying to push it or anything. She would cruise like crazy all over the house and push her little toys around but if I tried calling her over, she would immediately drop to her knees and crawl on over.
On Friday, everything changed. She was hobbling all around taking a couple more steps each time. At Erin’s soccer game, Palmer walked like 30 steps as she held on to my hoodie string for support.
On Saturday, it was like full steam ahead. She was walking all over the house. She falls, a lot, but gets back up and keeps on going. She gets sooo excited when she’s walking. She laughs and screams and has the time of her life. It’s seriously adorable.
Last night she was showing off to everyone that she knew how to walk around and hamming it up. She’s ridiculous. I am sooo aware that I’m in big trouble with this adorable monster.
