So it’s been almost 2 years that I’ve been trying to find the courage to do a family photo session. I’m super awkward in front of the camera so my anxiety has completely kept me from capturing more regular sessions over the years. Erin and I were discussing the last time we had professional photos done and we realized it was when we eloped, and before that… senior photos.
So I finally decided enough was enough and we were going to get these family photos done while it’s just the 3 of us. Plus Palmer is so darn cute, why wouldn’t you want some photos of that kid??
Our friends have had a couple sessions with this adorable Phoenix family photographer, Let Me See You Sparkle, and their photos are always awesome so I reached out. With time quickly passing by during this pregnancy, Chrissy was able to get us in for an early morning session at the Scottsdale Civic Center to capture my growing bump, and obvious love for my family.
I really wanted to make sure she captured some father-daughter photos because Erin and Palmer are so cute together. They are like pure magic. I love all their photos because you can see all the love he has for her and she just adores him.
I had to giggle looking at the photos of us as a couple. We are both so weird. We were both so nervous to be in front of the camera. Maybe we should try doing this more than once every 10 years so we are more relaxed. Every time we had to look cutesy, we laughed. Hi, touch my bump. Longingly look into my eyes. Lets kiss and pretend like no one is looking. lol
